Possible Causes
Cracked inner pot, Loose or damaged float valve gasket, Condensation collector missing or overfilled, Internal gasket failure around lid or steam path
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool. Do not continue using a leaking appliance.
- Inspect inner pot: Remove the pot and fill it with water over a sink to check for cracks or pinholes. Replace if any leaks are found.
- Check condensation collector: Ensure the rear condensation cup (if equipped) is installed correctly and not overflowing. Empty and reinstall.
- Examine float and steam valves: Check that gaskets and O-rings are seated properly and not torn. Replace damaged seals.
- Look for internal drips: With the inner pot removed, inspect the heater area for signs of water trails or pooling, which indicate internal leaks.
- Service if internal: If water appears to be leaking from inside the housing, stop using the cooker and have it inspected professionally.
