Possible Causes
Faulty power outlet, Blown internal fuse, Damaged power cord, Failed power supply section on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before inspecting the cord or opening anything.
- Verify outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, fraying, or burn marks. If the cord is detachable, ensure it is fully seated in the cooker socket.
- Try a different outlet: Use a known-good outlet on a different circuit without extension cords.
- Check for signs of life: Listen for any faint clicks or see if any LEDs flash briefly when plugging in. Total silence often indicates a blown fuse or dead board.
- Internal fuse: Many GreenPan multicookers have an internal thermal or glass fuse on the power input. Accessing and replacing it requires opening the base and should be done by a technician.
- Do not bypass fuses: Never short or bypass a blown fuse; replace only with the correct rated part.
