Multicooker takes much longer than usual to come to pressure or to cook.

Safety first: Unplug and cool before inspecting the heater area.

• Check recipe load: Avoid overfilling the pot. Follow GreenPan's maximum fill guidelines.
• Inspect pot and heater contact: Ensure the inner pot bottom is flat and sits evenly on the heater plate. Clean any residue from the heater plate.
• Verify power supply: Avoid using long extension cords or sharing the circuit with heavy appliances that can drop voltage.
• Compare modes: Test a simple Sauté or Boil function with water. If heating is very slow, the heater may be weakening.
• Service if needed: A technician can measure heater resistance and replace the heater plate if underperforming.
