Possible Causes
Firmware glitch in main PCB, Corrupted EEPROM or calibration data, Loose internal connectors between display board and power board, Incompatible or replaced sensor without recalibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. Do not short any pins on the board.
Step 1 – Full power reset:
- Unplug the multicooker for 15–20 minutes.
- Press and hold the main Start/Stop button (if accessible) for 10 seconds while unplugged to discharge capacitors.
- Reconnect and test.
Step 2 – Check internal connections:
- Remove the outer housing screws to access the control area.
- Locate the ribbon cable between the display/control panel and the power PCB.
- Unplug and re-seat the ribbon cable and any sensor connectors firmly.
Step 3 – Inspect for damage:
- Look for corrosion on connectors, especially if the cooker has been exposed to steam leaks.
- Check for cracked solder joints on the display board.
Step 4 – Repair:
- If E6 persists after reseating connectors, the main control PCB may need replacement.
- Some Klarstein models require factory calibration after board or sensor replacement; this must be done by an authorized service center.
