Possible Causes

Cooker still too hot from previous cycle, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high, Poor ventilation around cooker causing heat buildup

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Do not attempt to cool the cooker rapidly with water or ice; this can damage components.

Step 1 – Allow cooling:

  • Open the lid (if safe and not under pressure) and remove the inner pot.
  • Let the cooker sit unplugged for 20–30 minutes to cool.

Step 2 – Improve ventilation:

  • Ensure the cooker is used on a hard, heat-resistant surface with at least 10 cm clearance on all sides.
  • Avoid placing it under low cabinets where steam and heat can accumulate.

Step 3 – Sensor check (if H1 appears even when cold):

  • Test the bottom and lid NTC sensors as described for E1/E2.
  • Replace any sensor that reads out of range at room temperature.
