How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not forcefully pry the pot with metal tools; you may damage the heating plate.
Step 1 – Gentle release:
- Allow the cooker to cool slightly, then gently twist the pot left and right while lifting.
- If stuck, add a small amount of warm water around the pot edge and wait a few minutes.
Step 2 – Inspect pot and plate:
- Once removed, inspect the bottom of the inner pot for warping or bulging.
- Check the heating plate for burnt-on residue; clean carefully with a non-abrasive pad.
Step 3 – Repair:
- Replace a warped inner pot with a genuine Klarstein replacement.
- Avoid dry cooking or using high heat without sufficient liquid.
