How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Keep face and hands away from the safety valve. Do not cover the cooker.
Step 1 – Stop and cool:
- Cancel the program and unplug the cooker.
- Allow it to depressurize naturally.
Step 2 – Clean steam path:
- Clean the steam release valve, anti-block shield, and lid channels thoroughly.
- Avoid overfilling; keep below the max line, especially with starchy foods.
Step 3 – Inspect safety valve:
- Check the safety valve for deformation or damage.
- Replace the safety valve if it vents at normal pressure or shows signs of wear.
