Safety: Steam can cause burns. Always keep hands away from the steam path.

Step 1 – Inspect sealing ring:

• Remove and clean the silicone sealing ring and its groove.
• Check for cracks, cuts, or permanent deformation; replace if any damage is found.

Step 2 – Clean lid surfaces:

• Wipe the metal or plastic sealing surface on the lid and the top edge of the inner pot.
• Remove any food residue or dried starch.

Step 3 – Check valves:

• Ensure the steam release valve is in the sealing position.
• Inspect the float valve gasket and replace if hardened or cracked.

Step 4 – Test:

• Run a water-only pressure test to confirm that pressure now builds and steam leakage has stopped.
