Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on PCB, Faulty mains power cord, Defective power switch, Failed low-voltage power supply on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooker before opening. Mains voltage is present inside; if you are not experienced with electrical work, seek professional help.
Step 1 – External checks:
- Verify the wall outlet with another appliance.
- Check the Klarstein power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks.
Step 2 – Internal fuse:
- Remove the bottom cover to access the main control PCB.
- Locate the small glass or ceramic fuse near the mains input.
- Test continuity with a multimeter; replace only with the same rating if blown.
Step 3 – Power supply section:
- Inspect for burnt components or bulging capacitors.
- If the fuse blows again immediately, there is likely a shorted component (e.g., bridge rectifier, switching IC) and the entire board should be replaced.
