Possible Causes

Partially open main heating element, Loose heating element connectors, Faulty triac or relay not delivering full power, Incorrect voltage supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before accessing internal parts.

Step 1 – Basic test:

  • Run a high-heat program with water and time how long it takes to reach boiling.
  • If it never boils or takes excessively long, suspect heating issues.

Step 2 – Internal inspection:

  • Remove the bottom cover and locate the main heating element connections.
  • Check for loose spade connectors or signs of overheating.

Step 3 – Measure element resistance:

  • Disconnect the element and measure its resistance; compare with the specification for your Klarstein model.
  • A significantly higher resistance than normal indicates a failing element.

Step 4 – Repair:

  • Tighten or replace loose connectors.
  • Replace the main heating element if out of spec.
  • If the element is fine, the control board's triac/relay may be faulty; replace the main control PCB.
