Possible Causes
Loose screw or bracket inside housing, Fan blades hitting wiring (on fan-equipped models), Relay chattering due to unstable power, Warped inner pot causing vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooker before opening. Do not touch moving fan blades.
Step 1 – Isolate noise:
- Determine if the noise occurs only when heating, only when pressurizing, or continuously.
Step 2 – Internal inspection:
- Remove the outer housing and inspect for loose screws, brackets, or wires touching the fan or heating element.
- Tighten any loose fasteners.
Step 3 – Fan and relay:
- Ensure the cooling fan spins freely and is not obstructed.
- Some clicking from relays is normal, but rapid chattering may indicate a failing relay or power issue; in that case, replace the main control PCB.
