Possible Causes

Loose NTC sensor connector, Failed bottom NTC thermistor, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Control board sensor input fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool completely before any inspection.

  • Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes to clear any transient error, then plug back in and try a simple mode like Sauté with an empty, dry pot.
  • Check for moisture: Remove the inner pot and inspect the heating plate area. If you see moisture, spills, or condensation around the center sensor area, gently dry with a soft cloth and allow the unit to air-dry for several hours before retrying.
  • Inspect underside vents: Look through the bottom vents for signs of liquid intrusion or corrosion near the sensor wiring. If you see heavy corrosion, do not use the cooker until inspected by a technician.
  • Avoid using with warped pot: A severely warped inner pot can stress the sensor and heater. If the pot bottom is not flat, replace the pot before further use.

If E2 reappears consistently, the bottom NTC sensor or its harness is likely defective and should be replaced. This requires opening the base and should be done by a qualified service provider.
