Possible Causes

Insufficient water in inner pot, Excessive evaporation during long cook, Inner pot not installed, Sensor detecting dry condition at heater

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Press Cancel and unplug the cooker before adding liquid.

  • Check inner pot: Confirm the inner pot is installed and seated correctly. Never operate the cooker without the inner pot.
  • Add liquid: For pressure and rice modes, add at least the minimum amount of water or broth specified in the Our Place manual.
  • Stir thick foods: For thick sauces or stews, stir and add more liquid to prevent scorching at the bottom.
  • Restart program: After adding liquid and reseating the pot, restart the program and monitor for normal operation.

If the water warning appears even with adequate liquid and a properly seated pot, the bottom sensor or control board may be faulty.
