Possible Causes
Use of metal utensils, Abrasive cleaning pads, Overheating empty pot, Normal wear over time
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not ingest flaking coating; discontinue using a severely damaged pot.
- Inspect coating: Remove the pot and examine the entire cooking surface for peeling or deep scratches.
- Change utensils: Use only silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils to prevent further damage.
- Gentle cleaning: Clean with soft sponges and non-abrasive cleaners only.
If the coating is significantly damaged, replace the inner pot with an original Our Place replacement to ensure proper fit and heat transfer.
