Steam continuously escapes from the steam release valve even when set to Seal; pressure never builds.

Safety first: Do not place your hand over the steam vent. Cancel the program and allow the cooker to cool and depressurize.

• Remove steam cap: Once cool, remove the steam release cap and inspect the silicone seal for food particles or damage.
• Clean components: Wash the cap and seal in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
• Reassemble correctly: Reinstall the seal and cap according to the manual, ensuring they sit flat and secure.
• Test with water: Run a water-only pressure test to confirm that steam no longer escapes continuously.

If steam still leaks from the valve when set to Seal, replace the steam release valve assembly.
