Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any inspection. Do not attempt live testing unless you are trained to work with mains voltage.

• Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Inspect the Oursson power cord for visible damage. If detachable, ensure it is fully inserted into the cooker.
• Try another cord (if compatible): Some Oursson models use a standard detachable cord. Test with a known-good cord of the same type.
• Inspect fuse (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and locate the input fuse on the PCB. If it is visibly blown (darkened or broken filament), replace it with the exact same rating. Investigate for short circuits before powering again.
• Board damage: If the fuse is intact but there is still no power, the internal power supply or PCB is likely defective. Board-level repair should be done by a professional.
