Multicooker powers on but will not start any cooking program; pressing Start does nothing or beeps only.

Safety first: Unplug before opening any covers; panel-level checks can be done with power off.

• Check display messages: Look for lid or pot icons, or lock symbols. Resolve any indicated condition (close lid, insert pot, disable child lock).
• Verify inner pot: Ensure the original Oursson inner pot is installed and seated properly. Some models will not start without it.
• Test other buttons: If other buttons respond but Start does not, the Start key may be faulty. Lightly press around the button area to see if it responds intermittently.
• Panel cleaning: Wipe the control panel to remove grease or residue that may interfere with touch sensors.
• Service if needed: If all conditions are met and the cooker still will not start, the control panel or main PCB may require replacement.
