Possible Causes

Transient firmware error, Button panel communication fault, Internal sensor reading out of range

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the cooker.

  • Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 10–15 minutes. This can clear temporary firmware errors.
  • Clean control panel: Wipe the touch panel or buttons with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Do not allow liquid to enter around the buttons.
  • Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to ensure none are stuck or unresponsive.
  • Test simple program: Plug in and try a basic program with water. If 'Err' reappears, note when it occurs (immediately, during heating, etc.) and contact Philips support with this information.
