E11 error appears when trying to start any program; the lid may not lock properly.

Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Do not bypass the lid lock; it is a critical safety device.

• Check lid closure: Ensure the lid is fully closed and rotated/latched according to the model's design. Listen for a distinct click from the lock.
• Inspect lock mechanism: Remove the top cover or front panel to access the lid lock assembly. Check for broken plastic parts or an actuator that does not reach the microswitch.
• Test microswitch: With a multimeter, test continuity across the switch terminals while manually actuating the lock. Replace the switch if it does not change state reliably.
• Check wiring: Verify that the lid lock wires are intact and firmly connected to the main board.
• Replace lid lock assembly: If mechanical parts are worn or broken, install a new Polaris lid lock assembly designed for your model.
