Possible Causes
Liquid ingress onto main control board, Condensation inside lid wiring, Shorted keypad or display board, Corroded connectors due to previous spills
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately unplug the cooker if a spill occurs. Do not power it again until fully dry and inspected.
- Drying procedure: Remove the inner pot and wipe any visible liquid. Open the bottom cover and front panel to allow airflow. Let the unit dry in a warm, ventilated area for 24–48 hours.
- Inspect for corrosion: After drying, examine the main board and connectors for white/green corrosion or residue. Clean lightly with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Check keypad and display: If liquid entered from the top control panel, disconnect the keypad/display board and inspect for damage. Replace if the membrane or PCB is swollen or delaminated.
- Test after reassembly: Reassemble and test. If E13 persists, the main control board may have sustained permanent damage and should be replaced.
