Possible Causes
Damaged touch membrane, Cracked front control PCB, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and main board, Electrostatic discharge damage to keypad controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before removing the front panel.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and inspect the flat cable connecting the keypad to the main board. Reseat both ends.
- Inspect keypad surface: Look for cracks, bubbles, or signs of liquid damage on the touch panel. If present, the keypad assembly should be replaced.
- Test button response: With the unit reassembled and powered, test each button. If entire rows or columns fail, the keypad PCB or cable is likely defective.
- Replace keypad assembly: Install a new Polaris keypad/control panel assembly compatible with your model. Transfer any decorative overlays if required.
