Possible Causes
Partially open heating element, Loose heater connector, Failed heater triac or relay on control board, Blown thermal fuse bypassed by control logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool. Heating circuits carry mains voltage.
- Confirm symptom: Start a high-heat mode (e.g., Fry) and check after 5–10 minutes. If the inner pot is still cold, proceed.
- Inspect heater wiring: Access the bottom and verify that the heater terminals are firmly connected and not oxidized.
- Measure heater resistance: Use a multimeter to check the heating element. Infinite or very high resistance indicates a failing element that may still pass minimal current but not heat properly.
- Check thermal fuse: Test continuity of the thermal fuse in series with the heater. Replace if open.
- Control board output: If the heater and fuse are good, the switching device (triac/relay) on the main board is likely faulty. Replace the main control board.
