Possible Causes
Steam release valve stuck open, Lid gasket not sealing, Cracked inner lid or steam cap, Pressure sensor misreading low pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow any residual pressure to escape before opening the lid.
- 1. Verify steam release valve: Ensure the valve is in the Seal position and that it is not clogged with food. Remove and clean it if necessary.
- 2. Inspect gasket and inner lid: Check the main gasket and any inner lid plate for cracks or warping. Replace the gasket if it is flattened or damaged.
- 3. Clean pressure path: Remove the anti-block shield and clean the steam path to the pressure sensor and release valve.
- 4. Pressure sensor check (advanced): If mechanical sealing is good but noPr persists, test and, if needed, replace the pressure sensor / transducer as described under E5.
