C1
C1 or similar calibration code appears and cooker may not heat correctly.
Temperature Calibration Error
C2
C2 or similar code appears, often associated with lid temperature or steam path issues.
Lid Temperature Calibration / Steam Path Error
E1
Multicooker beeps and displays E1 shortly after starting; heating does not begin or stops immediately.
High Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Open Circuit
E2
Display shows E2 and the cooker will not start or stops heating; fan and lights may still work.
High Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Short Circuit
E3
E3 error appears during preheat or pressure build; cooker stops heating and may beep continuously.
Overtemperature Protection / Overheat Detected at Heating Plate
E4
E4 error appears, often when trying to use pressure modes; cooker may not pressurize or may shut down early.
Lid Temperature Sensor Fault / Overheat at Lid
E5
E5 error appears and the cooker will not start pressure cooking; may occur immediately after pressing Start.
Pressure Sensor Circuit Fault
E6
E6 error displays and the cooker will not heat; sometimes occurs after a power surge or lightning event.
Heating Circuit Failure / Triac or Relay Fault
E7
E7 error appears, often accompanied by failure to build pressure or erratic temperature control.
Secondary Temperature Sensor / Ambient Sensor Fault
Err
Display shows a generic “Err” or “ERROR” message and beeps; no specific numeric code is given.
General Control Board Fault / Firmware Error
H2O
Display shows “H2O” or “ADD WATER” and the cooker stops or refuses to start a program.
Low Liquid / Dry Pot Protection
LID
Display shows a lid-related message (e.g., “LID”, “LID OPEN”, or flashing lid icon) and the cooker will not start pressure mode.
Lid Lock / Lid Position Switch Not Engaged
noPr
Display shows “noPr” or similar and the cooker cancels the pressure program without reaching pressure.
Pressure Not Achieved / Pressure Loss
OvHt
Display shows “OvHt”, “HOT”, or similar overheat warning; cooker may shut down mid-cycle.
Overheat / Burn Protection Triggered
POT
Display shows “POT” or “NO POT” and the cooker will not start heating.
Inner Pot Detection Failure
PrE
Display stuck on “PrE” or “PREHEAT” for an unusually long time; may time out with an error or never reach pressure.
Preheat Timeout / Failure to Reach Pressure
Symptom
Burning plastic or electrical smell during operation.
Overheating Electrical Component
Symptom
Display and lights flicker or reset when the heater turns on.
Power Supply Instability / Voltage Drop
Symptom
Display lights up but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Touch Panel Failure
Symptom
Display works but no countdown starts; unit stays on “ON” or “HEAT” indefinitely without progressing.
Mode Logic / Sensor Feedback Fault
Symptom
High-pitched squealing or grinding noise when the fan runs.
Cooling Fan Bearing Wear
Symptom
Inner pot is difficult to insert or remove; scrapes against the housing.
Deformed Inner Pot or Misaligned Heating Plate
Symptom
Lid is stuck and will not open after cooking; float valve appears down and pressure seems released.
Mechanical Lid Jam
Symptom
Liquid or foam spurts out of the steam release valve when pressure is released.
Foaming / Overfill During Pressure Release
Symptom
Loud rattling, clicking, or buzzing noise from the base during operation.
Mechanical Vibration / Fan or Component Rattle
Symptom
Multicooker does not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.
No Power / Dead Unit
Symptom
Multicooker heats but never reaches or maintains set temperature in non-pressure modes (e.g., slow cook, sauté).
Temperature Regulation / Thermostat Control Fault
Symptom
Persistent food odor or rancid smell from the cooker, especially from the lid and gasket.
Odor Retention in Silicone and Lid Components
Symptom
Steam or water leaks from around the steam release valve during cooking, even when set to Seal.
Steam Release Valve Malfunction
Symptom
Unit builds pressure but then vents steam continuously from the lid area; cannot maintain pressure.
Lid Seal Failure / Continuous Steam Leak
Symptom
Unit immediately goes to “Keep Warm” without cooking when a program is selected.
Program Logic / Sensor Misinterpretation
Symptom
Unit powers on and counts down, but food remains undercooked; inner pot and contents are only lukewarm.
Weak or Non-Functional Heating Element
Symptom
Unit shuts off unexpectedly mid-cycle and does not resume; may restart after cooling.
Thermal Overload / Overheat Cutoff Tripping
Symptom
Water or condensation dripping from the sides or back of the cooker during or after cooking.
Condensation Management / Collector Overflow
Symptom
Water or steam leaks from the float valve area; float may not rise fully.
Float Valve Seal Failure
