Possible Causes
Loose screws in base or heating plate, Cooling fan blades hitting wiring or housing, Warped inner pot causing vibration, Loose transformer or inductor on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool before opening the base.
- 1. Check pot and surface: Ensure the cooker is on a stable, level surface and the inner pot is seated correctly.
- 2. Tighten screws: Remove the bottom cover and tighten all mounting screws for the heating plate, fan, and control board.
- 3. Inspect fan: Spin the cooling fan by hand and ensure it does not contact wires or the housing. Re-route any wires away from the blades.
- 4. Secure components: If the transformer or large inductors are loose, secure them with non-conductive adhesive or replace the main control board if damage is evident.
