Possible Causes
Disconnected base NTC sensor plug, Damaged NTC sensor cable, Shorted NTC sensor, Fault on main control PCB sensor input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any inspection. Do not operate with covers removed.
- Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 10 minutes, then reconnect and test. Transient faults can sometimes clear.
- Check for visible cable damage: If you are comfortable removing the bottom cover (and this does not void warranty), inspect the cable from the heating plate to the control board for burns, cuts, or loose connectors.
- Do not bypass sensors: Never short or bypass the temperature sensor; this is a critical safety device.
- When to replace: If connections are secure and E6 remains, the base NTC temperature sensor or the main control PCB is likely faulty and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
