Possible Causes
Blocked steam release valve, Blocked anti-block shield, Stuck float valve, Faulty pressure sensor calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool and depressurize fully. Use a long utensil to carefully move the steam release valve to the vent position if safe to do so. Keep hands and face away from steam.
- Clean pressure path: Once fully depressurized and unplugged, remove the steam release valve, anti-block shield, and float valve. Soak and clean them thoroughly to remove starch and grease.
- Inspect sealing ring: Check the silicone sealing ring for deformation or swelling that might prevent proper venting. Replace if damaged.
- Reassemble correctly: Ensure all lid components are reinstalled in the correct orientation as per the manual.
- Test with water: Run a short pressure cycle with only water to confirm normal operation.
- When to replace: If E7 recurs with clean components, the pressure sensor module may be misreading and require replacement.
