Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse, Faulty power cord, Failed main control PCB power supply, Damaged mains inlet socket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from the mains before any inspection. Do not open the unit if under warranty.
- Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, stop using the cooker immediately.
- Try another outlet: Plug into a different known-good outlet without extension leads.
- Internal fuse check (advanced): If you are experienced and warranty has expired, remove the base cover and check the internal glass fuse near the mains inlet for continuity. Replace only with the exact same rating.
- When to replace: If the fuse is intact and there is still no power, the main control PCB or mains inlet module is likely faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
