How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged and cool before disassembling lid components.
- Deep clean lid: Remove the inner lid plate, sealing ring, steam release valve, anti-block shield, and float valve. Wash all parts in warm soapy water.
- Deodorize silicone: Soak the sealing ring in a solution of baking soda and warm water for several hours, then rinse and dry.
- Clean condensation collector: Remove and wash the condensation collector and surrounding area.
- Air out: Store the cooker with the lid upside down or slightly open to allow ventilation.
- When to replace: If odours persist, replace the silicone sealing ring, which commonly retains smells.
