Possible Causes

Failed lid NTC sensor, Broken lid sensor wiring in hinge, Loose lid sensor connector on PCB, Sensor shorted by moisture

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is cool before removing the lid inner cover.

Step-by-step checks:

  • 1. Access lid sensor: Remove the inner lid plate (usually held by a central screw or clips). Locate the small temperature sensor (NTC) attached to the lid metal surface.
  • 2. Inspect sensor and wiring: Check for corrosion, broken insulation, or loose mounting. Ensure the sensor is firmly pressed against the lid surface for accurate readings.
  • 3. Check hinge harness: Follow the sensor wires through the hinge area. Look for pinched or broken conductors caused by repeated opening/closing.
  • 4. Reseat connector: At the main PCB, unplug and replug the lid sensor connector. Clean any visible oxidation.
  • 5. Dry moisture: If there are signs of condensation inside the lid, dry the area thoroughly and allow several hours before retesting.

Note: If E11 persists, the lid NTC sensor is likely defective and should be replaced with a compatible Saturn sensor.
