Possible Causes
Steam release valve stuck in Venting position, Safety valve leaking, Lid not sealed properly, Pressure sensor not detecting pressure drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure all pressure is released before opening the lid. Keep clear of steam vents.
Step-by-step checks:
- 1. Check valve position: Confirm the steam release valve is in the correct position during cooking and that it moves freely between Sealing and Venting.
- 2. Inspect sealing ring: Remove and inspect the silicone sealing ring. Replace if stretched, cracked, or hardened.
- 3. Examine safety valve: Check for continuous steam leakage from the safety valve during cooking. If it leaks, replace the valve.
- 4. Clean lid components: Clean the anti-block shield, valve seat, and lid channels thoroughly to ensure proper sealing and controlled exhaust.
- 5. Sensor check (advanced): If mechanical parts are fine, the pressure sensor may not be detecting the pressure profile correctly, causing a timeout. Inspect its wiring and connector.
Note: Persistent E13 after mechanical maintenance may require replacement of the pressure sensor module.
