Pressure Not Building
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid.

Possible Causes
Damaged silicone sealing ring, Steam release valve stuck open, Debris on lid sealing surface, Warped inner pot rim preventing seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool and fully depressurize before opening the lid.
Step-by-step checks:
- 1. Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone ring from the lid. Check for cracks, cuts, or permanent deformation. Replace if any damage is found.
- 2. Clean lid groove and pot rim: Thoroughly clean the groove where the ring sits and the top rim of the inner pot. Even small food particles can prevent sealing.
- 3. Check steam release valve position: Ensure the valve is set to Sealing for pressure cooking. Clean the valve and its seat to ensure it can close fully.
- 4. Check for lid warping: Place the lid upside down on a flat surface to see if it rocks. A warped lid may not seal and usually requires replacement.
- 5. Test with water: Add 2–3 cups of water, close the lid, and run a short pressure program. Observe if steam still escapes continuously.
Recommendation: If a new sealing ring and clean components still do not allow pressure to build, the lid assembly may be distorted and should be replaced.
