Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor in bowl base, Damaged temperature sensor wiring in bowl connector, Faulty temperature input circuit on main board, Corroded contacts on bowl connector pins
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow the bowl to cool before handling.
- 1. Clean contacts: Inspect and gently clean the bowl connector contacts (both on the bowl and on the base) with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasives.
- 2. Test with another bowl (if available): If you have access to a second compatible bowl, try it. If the error disappears, the original bowl's temperature sensor is likely defective.
- 3. Check for moisture: Ensure the underside of the bowl and connector area are completely dry. Moisture can cause sensor readings to go out of range.
- 4. Power cycle: After cleaning and drying, unplug the unit for 5 minutes, reconnect, and test with water heating to 60–70°C.
- 5. If error persists with multiple bowls: The main control board temperature input circuit may be faulty. This requires professional diagnosis and board replacement.
