Possible Causes
Defective over-temperature sensor on base, Loose sensor connection to main board, Shorted sensor wiring, Faulty ADC circuit on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance. Do not continue using it if it reports temperature sensor or overheat errors.
- 1. Allow cooling: If the unit was hot, let it cool completely before further tests.
- 2. Power reset: After cooling, reconnect and try a low-temperature program with water only. If C152 reappears, stop using the appliance.
- 3. No user-serviceable sensor: The internal over-temperature sensor is mounted on the chassis or heater assembly and is not designed for user replacement.
- 4. Arrange service: A technician will check the overheat sensor, wiring, and main control board and replace as needed.
