C200 error, appliance reports scale or cleaning required; heating performance reduced

Safety first: Allow the bowl to cool before descaling.

• 1. Perform full descaling: Use a Vorwerk-approved descaling agent. Fill the bowl to the indicated level, run a heating cycle, and follow the on-screen or manual instructions.
• 2. Rinse thoroughly: After descaling, rinse the bowl multiple times to remove any chemical residue.
• 3. Clean contact surfaces: Wipe the underside of the bowl and the base contact area dry and clean.
• 4. Reset maintenance indicator: If the appliance allows, follow the manual to reset the descaling/maintenance indicator after proper cleaning.
• 5. If C200 remains: There may be persistent scale or a sensor calibration issue. Contact service for inspection of the heating surface and temperature sensors.
