Possible Causes
Worn or damaged knife shaft seal, Improperly installed mixing knife, Cracked bowl base, Loose locking ring (if applicable)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and avoid getting liquids into the base or vents.
- 1. Remove bowl and inspect: Check the underside of the mixing bowl for cracks and examine the area around the mixing knife for signs of leakage.
- 2. Check knife installation: Ensure the mixing knife assembly is correctly seated and locked according to the manual.
- 3. Replace seals: If the knife shaft seal or gasket appears worn, swollen, or cracked, replace the mixing knife assembly or gasket kit recommended by Vorwerk.
- 4. Dry the base: Carefully wipe any spilled liquid from the base. Do not immerse the base in water.
- 5. Persistent leaks: If the bowl itself is cracked or continues to leak after seal replacement, replace the entire mixing bowl.
