Steam or liquid leaking from around the lid during cooking

Safety first: Beware of hot steam. Unplug and allow pressure to drop before opening the lid.

• 1. Inspect lid seal: Remove the lid sealing ring (gasket) and check for cracks, deformation, or hardening. Replace if damaged.
• 2. Clean sealing surfaces: Thoroughly clean the rim of the bowl and the lid groove where the seal sits.
• 3. Refit seal correctly: Ensure the gasket is fully seated in the lid groove without twists.
• 4. Lock lid properly: Close and lock the lid as per the manual, ensuring it is fully engaged.
• 5. If leaking continues: The lid may be warped or cracked and require replacement.
