Strong unpleasant odor from inside the bowl or lid even after normal washing

Safety first: Ensure all parts are cool before disassembly and cleaning.

• 1. Disassemble for cleaning: Remove the mixing knife, lid sealing ring, and any removable inserts.
• 2. Deep clean: Wash all removable parts in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher if allowed. Pay special attention to grooves and under the sealing ring.
• 3. Deodorize: Run a cleaning cycle with water, a slice of lemon, and a small amount of baking soda (if permitted by Vorwerk guidelines).
• 4. Dry thoroughly: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly to prevent odors and mold.
• 5. Replace seals if needed: If odors persist, replace the lid sealing ring, which can absorb smells over time.
