Possible Causes

Blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Wiring fault to lamp assembly, Faulty lighting relay or triac on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off power before changing the lamp or touching internal fittings.

  • Replace the lamp: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with a Candy-approved high-temperature oven lamp of the same wattage and cap type.
  • Inspect the lamp holder: Check for heat damage, cracks, or loose contacts. Replace the lamp holder if damaged.
  • Check wiring: Inspect the wires leading to the lamp holder for burns or breaks. Repair or replace as needed.
  • Control board: If the lamp and holder are good but the light never comes on (and E14 persists), the control board lighting circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
