Possible Causes
Faulty mechanical thermostat (on simpler models), Faulty temperature selector switch, Defective temperature sensing circuit on PCB, Miscalibrated control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing controls.
- Identify control type: Determine if your Candy oven uses a mechanical thermostat knob or fully electronic temperature control.
- Mechanical thermostat: Remove the control knob and front panel to access the thermostat. Check for burnt contacts or broken capillary tube. If the capillary is kinked or broken, the thermostat must be replaced.
- Electronic control: Verify that the NTC sensor is functioning (see E01/E02). If the sensor is good, the control board may be misreading temperature and require replacement.
- Selector switch: On models with a separate function selector, inspect the switch contacts for burning or mechanical failure. Replace if faulty.
