Possible Causes
Faulty pyrolytic temperature sensor, Door lock not engaging for pyro cycle, Overtemperature during pyrolytic cleaning, Faulty pyro relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool and isolated from mains before inspection.
- Check door lock: Confirm that the door lock engages correctly when a pyrolytic cycle is selected. If not, inspect the lock assembly and wiring (see E08).
- Inspect pyro sensor: Some Candy pyrolytic ovens use a dedicated high-temperature sensor. Access and test it similarly to the main NTC; replace if open or shorted.
- Ventilation and cooling: Ensure the cooling fan operates correctly during high-temperature operation and that ventilation openings are not blocked.
- Control board: If mechanical components are fine, the pyro control circuit on the PCB may be defective and require replacement.
