Possible Causes
Faulty function selector switch (knob models), Failed main relay on control board, Broken common feed to heating circuits, Door not detected as closed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing controls.
- Check door status: Ensure the door is fully closed and that the door switch is operating correctly.
- Selector switch: On mechanical models, remove the control panel and inspect the selector switch for burnt contacts or broken cam. Replace if defective.
- Control board relays: On electronic models, listen for relay clicks when starting a program. If none are heard and no power reaches elements, the main relay or board may be faulty.
- Wiring: Verify continuity of the common live feed from the board/selector to the elements.
