Oven door seal is damaged, loose, or heat escapes causing surrounding cabinets to overheat.

Safety first: Allow the oven to cool completely.

• Inspect gasket: Check the entire perimeter for tears, flat spots, or missing sections.
• Refit if loose: If the seal has come out of its groove, press it back in, ensuring all retaining hooks or pins are engaged.
• Replace gasket: If damaged, remove the old seal by pulling out the hooks or clips. Fit a new Candy-compatible door gasket, starting at the corners and ensuring an even fit.
