Possible Causes

Incorrect or corrupted control configuration, Loose harness between display and EOC, Failed display board, Failed main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal controls.

  • Power reset: Turn off power for 10 minutes, then restore. Sometimes F12 clears after a full reset.
  • Check harness: Access the control area and inspect the wiring between the display/UI board and the main control. Reseat all connectors and look for bent pins.
  • Configuration check: Some Dacor models require configuration codes to be set on the control board after replacement. If the error appeared after a board change, verify that the correct model configuration has been entered per the service manual.
  • Replace faulty board: If wiring is intact and configuration is correct, replace the display/UI board first. If the issue persists, replace the main control board.

Warning: Incorrect configuration can cause improper heating or unsafe operation. Follow Dacor documentation carefully.
