Possible Causes
Failed relay on EOC, Internal control board fault, Power surge damage, Loose neutral or line connection at control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the control compartment.
- Power cycle: Turn off the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If F5 returns immediately, suspect the control board.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the upper or rear panel (depending on model) to access the control board. Check for loose connections, burned terminals, or discoloration around relays.
- Tighten connections: Ensure line (L1, L2) and neutral connections are tight and secure on the control board terminal block.
- Check for visible damage: If you see burnt spots or cracked solder joints on the board, replacement is recommended rather than repair.
- Replace EOC: In most cases, F5 indicates an internal control failure and the electronic oven control must be replaced.
Warning: The control board carries live 240V. Only work on it with power disconnected. If unsure, contact a qualified technician.
