Safety first: Shut off power at the breaker before working on the control panel.

Check for stuck keys: With power off, press each button several times to ensure none are physically stuck. Clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid excessive moisture.
Dry out panel: If the error followed a spill or steam event, leave power off and allow the panel to dry for several hours. Do not use heat guns or hair dryers directly on the panel.
Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and inspect the keypad ribbon cable for cracks, kinks, or corrosion at the connector. Reseat the cable firmly.
Replace keypad or UI: If F7 persists and certain keys do not respond, replace the touchpad/control panel assembly or the UI board, depending on how your Dacor model is constructed.

Warning: Operating with a shorted keypad can cause unintended heating or unsafe operation. Address this fault before further use.
