Possible Causes

User‑activated child lock function, stuck key causing lock activation, firmware misinterpretation of key presses

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal work is required unless keys are physically stuck.

  • Deactivate child lock: On most Etna ovens, press and hold the key symbol or a specific button combination (e.g., '+' and '-' together) for several seconds to toggle the child lock. Refer to the user manual for the exact sequence.
  • Reset power: If the lock will not clear, disconnect power for 1–2 minutes, then restore and try the unlock sequence again.
  • Check for stuck buttons: If a physical button is jammed, remove the control panel and inspect the button mechanism. Clean or replace the button PCB if necessary.
