Safety first: Allow the oven to cool and disconnect power before accessing internal steam components.

Check water tank: Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the correct level and properly seated in its compartment. Clean the tank contacts if present.
Descale system: Run the descaling program if your Etna steam oven supports it, using the recommended descaling agent. Follow the user manual carefully.
Inspect steam inlet: Check the steam outlet/inlet inside the cavity for blockages. Clean gently with a non‑metallic tool.
Pump/valve test: If accessible, listen for the pump running during a steam cycle. If silent and no water movement occurs, the pump or valve may be faulty and should be replaced.
