Etna
Door Hinge / Door Alignment Fault
Oven door will not close fully, heat escapes, poor temperature control

Possible Causes
Worn or bent door hinges, deformed hinge receivers in cabinet, damaged door seal, warped door frame from overheating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door.
- Inspect hinges: Open the door fully and check for excessive play or sagging. If the door drops or does not align with the cabinet front, the hinges are likely worn.
- Remove door: Many Etna ovens have hinge locks. Flip the locking tabs, partially close the door, and lift it off. Inspect the hinge arms and receivers for damage.
- Replace hinges: Install new Etna‑specified hinges on both sides to ensure even support. Refit the door and test closure.
- Check door seal: Inspect the rubber gasket around the cavity. Replace if hardened, torn, or flattened.
