Possible Causes
Tripped thermal cut‑out, open lower and/or upper heating elements, faulty function selector switch, loose connection at mains terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker and verify the oven is de‑energized before removing it from the cabinet.
- Check mains supply: Confirm correct voltage at the wall outlet or junction box. A lost phase on multi‑phase installations can cause no heat.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and inspect the mains terminal block for burned or loose connections. Tighten or replace as needed.
- Test thermal cut‑out: Locate the safety thermostat on the top or rear of the cavity. Test for continuity; reset or replace if open.
- Check elements and selector: Measure resistance of the lower and upper elements. On knob models, test the function selector switch contacts for continuity in heating modes. Replace any open elements or faulty selector switch.
